About Joanna L. Cox

Founder & CEO, EVOLV Transformation Group Inc.

Transformation became personal long before it became my work.

Long before I founded EVOLV, I understood what it meant to perform under pressure.

By the age of 28, I had built and scaled a multimillion-dollar telecommunications construction company from the ground up. What began as a small operation grew to more than 65 employees, two branches, and a fleet serving the Greater Toronto Area.

As CEO, I understood ambition, responsibility, leadership and the pressure of knowing that other people's livelihoods depended, in part, on the decisions I made every day.

But while I was building a successful company, my personal life was becoming increasingly complicated.

The breakdown of my marriage, followed by the collapse of the company I had spent years building and a $3.2 million bankruptcy, forced me to look at something I had never really examined before:

the patterns beneath my decisions.

Why could someone be highly capable in one area of life and struggle in another?

Why do intelligent people stay in relationships that aren't working, overlook red flags, repeat familiar dynamics, or make decisions they know intellectually don't make sense?

And why is understanding a pattern often not enough to actually change it?

Those questions ultimately changed the direction of my life and became the foundation of the work I do today.

From Experience to Expertise

In 2009, I began formally training in the modalities that would eventually shape my approach to transformation.

Over the years, my training has expanded to include NLP, Timeline Therapy®, hypnotherapy, Neuro Change, brainwave entrainment, behavioural change, neuroscience-informed tools, and extensive work with unconscious patterns and beliefs.

But I didn't want to simply understand why people behave the way they do.

I wanted to understand how we actually change the patterns that keep repeating.

That distinction continues to shape my work today.

I combine advanced transformational modalities with counselling, strategic conversation, and practical application to help clients uncover what is happening beneath the surface and create change that extends beyond insight alone.

My approach is direct, highly personalized, and designed around the individual or couple in front of me. There is no one-size-fits-all formula because the patterns influencing our relationships, decisions, and behaviour are deeply personal.

The Work I Do Today

Today, I work with individuals, couples, entrepreneurs, executives, and high-performing professionals who are ready for more than simply understanding what isn't working.

My work focuses on uncovering the unconscious patterns that influence who you're drawn to, how you connect, how you communicate, what you tolerate, how you respond under pressure, and the decisions you make when relationships or life become difficult.

I work with:

• Singles who are tired of repeating the same relationship patterns

• Couples seeking deeper connection, communication, trust, and alignment

• Individuals navigating separation, divorce, or significant life transitions

• Entrepreneurs and executives managing the intersection of relationships, leadership, pressure, and success

• High-performing professionals who have achieved a great deal externally but recognize that something internally needs to change

The circumstances may be different, but the underlying question is often remarkably similar:

What is running beneath the surface, and what becomes possible when you change it?

Why EVOLV Exists

Some transformations need more space than a traditional session can provide.

EVOLV Transformation Group Inc. was created for that deeper work.

Through private intensives, immersive retreats, and transformational experiences, clients are given the time and space to step outside the usual pace of life, identify what is actually driving the problem, and begin changing the patterns that have often been operating for years.

Whether you're trying to understand why you keep choosing the same type of relationship, rebuilding connection with your partner, navigating a major transition, or recognizing that the way you've always operated is no longer serving you, the work begins beneath the surface.

Because success doesn't make us immune to patterns.

Neither does intelligence.

Neither does self-awareness.

Sometimes we can understand exactly what we're doing and still find ourselves doing it again.

Back leftThat's where the deeper work begins.

Transform unconscious patterns.
Build conscious relationships.
Create lasting transformation.
